Thank you for looking to find out more about Parade House. Parade House is a unique family run business that offers residential care within a warm & friendly surrounding. Parade House is registered for 20 residents providing tailored care 24/7. With spacious attractive rooms, a beautiful garden, a hair salon, a private reading room, Parade House sets the standards in private residential care. Residents are encouraged to bring personal possessions to make their bedrooms a ‘home from home’ experience. All rooms are fully furnished and are equipped with call bells, with the option to have a private landline or SKY TV installed.
Feeling at home in Parade House
We offer a superfast fibre broadband connection throughout the home. Residents can browse the web, email and Skype their loved ones in the privacy of their own room. Internet access is also available in the private snug. Privacy and having personnel choices are high on Parade House’s priority list. Parade house promotes independence and dignity. Parade House provides personal tailored care plans to meet the needs of our twenty residents. We work closely with our resident’s families and relatives to create a detailed plan to cover every aspect of their day to day care.
Staying active in Parade House
Parade House has a designated activity coordinator that organises and arranges daily activities. Activities consist of trips to places of interest, arts, crafts, games, animal encounters. We also do regular quizzes, musical movements, chair exercises, ipad sessions and social evenings within the home. Weather permitting our care staff enjoy taking residents out for walks and morning coffee in Monmouth town. Cuisine and Refreshments
Parade house provides a superb and varied choice of meals throughout the day. We start with Breakfast, then morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and finally supper. Menus are designed to cater for our resident’s dietary requirements; we ensure a tailored food plan is set up with the help and guidance of family members as well as speaking with local dieticians. All foods are prepared using local fresh produce where possible. All food is cooked fresh and we actively encourage family members to dine with us. There is also a range of fruit, refreshments throughout the day.
Visitors
We welcome visitors, family and friends at Parade House at all times. We actively encourage an open door policy whether that is a resident friend popping in for a coffee or the whole family visiting for lunch.
Respite Care
Holidays, relaxation breaks or even rehabilitation, Parade House offers respite care for throughout the year.
Fees
Our fees start at £750 per week and include all the essentials 24-hour care, accommodation, laundry, food and activities.
House Visit
We encourage and welcome house visits at Parade House. It’s important that you feel comfortable and feel at home in your new setting. We believe the residents make Parade House the home we would like to be.
